Yellow Cab taxis are also available and connect areas such as the Uptown Business District and its many hotels, and the trendy New River area, where many restaurants reside, along with the Fort Lauderdale Science museum. Nearby, Hallandale, North Miami Beach and Surfside all lie to the south.
